Our Theory

Many business consulting services promise “increased profits, decreased costs, and improved efficiencies,” but at what long-term cost and by what measurements? Many of the common practices in the business world are isolated in their approach and, as a result, we see companies constantly changing to the latest published business theory rather than improving within their current status. We do not claim to have all the answers, but we do claim to have the necessary tools to improve your business and leave you with the knowledge to continue your success.

Business is no different than technology. Without innovation we will become obsolete. This means change. Take for example airplanes. Fifty years ago they were able to fly and carry out their missions. Today, however, they are much faster, more reliable and more efficient. Airplanes were not wrong fifty years ago, but rather, could always be improved. Business should be looked at in the same light. We are not doing business wrong, instead, there is always a better way to do it.

Our theory is based on a holistic approach to the company. This means that we not only focus on product, inventory, systems and marketing, but we also focus on the most important element of your business - people. When we say people, that includes your employees, vendors and customers. People are the core of the business world, but unfortunately, are seldom included in company goals and strategies.

We use the practices of Theory of Constraints, Six Sigma, Lean Processes, Reliability Engineering and Innovative Marketing to achieve your goals and success. By combining these practices, we approach your business as a whole and not in isolation. An example of isolation would be a company that focuses on reducing inventory to reduce carrying cost. As a result they run out of inventory more frequently and lose sales, while employees and customers become frustrated by not having items in stock. Ultimately, the customer finds somewhere else to shop. This may sound extreme, but it actually happens quite often in small businesses as well as in larger name stores.

Our specialty is to design a system and process based business rather than a business based on one person, such as an owner. This is the key to all successful franchises. It allows you to plug in any qualified person and the system will still function as designed. You should own your company, the company should not own you. We do not offer a “get rich quick” approach, instead, we help you build your business to obtain a good reputation of quality, service, and product at a value to the customer. Anyone who says building a successful business is easy is selling you something. It requires hard work, organization and innovation to design a quality company that will continue to have success through the years.
